Dr. Kye Higdon is a plastic surgeon specializing in all areas of cosmetic and breast surgery in Vanderbilt’s Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Higdon is one of the only plastic surgeons in the region with additional fellowship training in cosmetic surgery, having completed the prestigious Aesthetic and Breast Surgery Fellowship under the direction of Dr. James Grotting, former President of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Dr. Higdon is double-board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
In addition to offering the highest quality of care for his patients, Dr. Higdon publishes extensively on cosmetic plastic surgery. His research has been honored with many awards, including the Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Award by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), multiple Editor’s Choice awards by the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and two-time Finalist for the James Barrett Brown Award (best paper in plastic surgery each year worldwide).
Besides being very active in his plastic surgery practice, Dr. Higdon is first and foremost a family man and a person of faith. He is also an avid outdoorsman and loves college football, the Tennessee Titans, and is proud to be a Nashville Predators team physician.
